Pillar mounted jib crane has multiple functions. It can be used loading, unloading and transporting material in factory, warehouse, construction site, dock, assembly line, storage yard. According to lifting capacity, it includes light duty crane and heavy duty crane. Small cranes with light lifting tons, such as 1 ton jib crane, 2 ton jib crane, 3 ton jib crane, 5 ton jib crane, are called light portable jib crane. Pillar mounted jib crane consists of jib arm. The arm is made from light profile section and is supported on anti-friction bearing to ensure long trouble free service. The arm can swing 270 degree. The arm is equipped with end stoppers to limit the travel of trolley for lifting equipment. The crane supports the trailing cable system which supplies power to lift equipment. The braking system is provided to prevent the arm from swing at higher speeds due to inertia off load,structure. The arm is supported on a robust pillar fabricated steel plates.

The pillar is tapering so that the increased section at the base provides good rigidity to the structure. The pillar and arm are designed to ensure minimum deflection on loaded conditions. Arm of wall mounted jib cranes is supported by bracket bolted on wall, or on column existing structure.

Free standing jib crane is very convenient and flexible. It is great choice for light lifting work that needs transportation from one place to another place. This kind of crane has light deadweight and small size. A tiny car can carry with it here and there. The crane is designed with wheels, which makes it move smoothly and quickly.
