Safe operation of industrial winch
The hoist should be installed in a flat and solid place with good vision. The connection between the fuselage and the ground anchor must be firm. The centerline of the hoist barrel and the guide pulley should correspond vertically. The distance between the hoist and the derrick pulley should generally be no less than 15 meters.
Before operation, the steel wire rope, clutch, brake, bumper and body-moving pulley should be inspected to confirm safe and reliable operation. Check whether there is friction between wire rope and derrick.
The steel wire rope must be arranged neatly on the drum. In operation, the steel wire rope of the drum must be kept in three circles at least. No one is allowed to cross the steel wire rope of the winch during operation.
When lifting heavy objects to stay in the air, in addition to the use of brakes, and the application of gear safety cards.
Operators must be on duty with a certificate, no undocumented operation is allowed, and no unauthorized departure from work during working hours is allowed.
In the work, we should listen to the commander’s signal. If the signal is not clear or may cause an accident, we should suspend the operation. We can continue the operation until we know the situation.
In case of sudden power failure during operation, the brake knife should be opened immediately and the conveyor should be put down.
When the work is finished, the tray should be laid on the ground and the electric box should be locked.

Regular check work of construction winch
The fastening screw should be checked before each flight starts, in order to prevent loosening and affect the safety of use.
When lifting heavy objects, we must select low-distance test crane to check whether the brake is too tight or too loose, and adjust it to the appropriate clearance in time if necessary.
Always check whether the gear box lubricant is within the prescribed limit, if there is a lack of timely replenishment, and replace mechanical gear lubricant once in February-March.
Check whether the brake disc is contaminated with oil, and if so, sprinkle some dry powder (such as dry lime powder) to ensure a good effect of restoring the brake.
The wire rope is lubricated regularly according to its use. When lubricating, special attention should be paid to the area in contact with the pulley and other parts that are difficult to inspect and maintain. The lubricant should meet the requirements of the rope and do not affect the appearance inspection.
Check the wear and tear of steel wire rope frequently, take measures to prevent breakage, kinking, bending and disorder of steel wire rope, and prevent scratching, grinding, rolling and excessive bending of steel wire rope.
Check the complete condition of clutch parts regularly. If there are cracks and serious wear, it should be replaced immediately.
