Instructions for 25 ton winch operation
1. Before the work, read the “winch operation instruction” and the winch related data such as: “cylindrical gear reducer operation instruction”, “motor operation and maintenance instruction”, “brake operation instruction”, “resistor operation instruction”, “wire rope operation guide” and so on.
2. Before the work, first check whether the weight is within the pull of the machine, check the wire rope and its bundling.
3. Check the fastness of the machine and the connection of each part, the correctness of electrical wiring and grounding, and oil in the reducer.
4. Check the control switch, close the knife, press the start button by hand, start to operate the winch, press the stop button, the motor stops to rotate and the brake automatically stops.
5. When dropping heavy objects, the tension of the wire rope shall be prevented to be relaxed, and the wire rope shall be retained on the drum for no less than three turns.
6. Refueling regularly as required, idle for 3-5 minutes before work.
7. The winch should not be stored in the open air as far as possible. Once stored in the open air, the brake wheels and brakes must be protected from moisture, snow and rain. Before using the winch, first carefully check the hoist, brake block and brake wheel whether rust dead situation, whether there is oil, if there must be first processing and then boot.
8. When the winch is in use, check the wear of the carbon brush and contactor working condition, carbon brush such as serious wear or damage is easy to cause contact of the contactor burned out and cause motor burn out due to lack of items.
9. Start with high-grade for the use of CAM winch , never start with low gear.

Potential risk of the winch use and requirements
Pay attention to some safety matters during the process of winch use. Now I would like to introduce to you what are the potential accidents of the winch? What are the safety requirements?
Potential accident
1. The winch is not firmly fixed and the ground anchor is not firmly set, which leads to the winch shifting and capsizing.
2. There is no protection device on the drum to prevent the steel wire rope from slipping or the protection device is not reasonable and reliable, which causes the steel wire rope to break away from the winch.
3. The end of the wire rope is not fixed or fixed according to the requirements, causing the wire rope to fall off.
4. The winch brake fails and cannot be positioned.
5. Inaccurate positioning of shaft end of rope barrel causes shaft fatigue fracture.

Requirements of installation position
1. Set up the operation shed, and ensure that the operator can see clearly the command personnel and objects dragged or hoisted. The construction process of buildings, scaffolding and the site piling materials, components, etc., should not affect the driver of the whole process of monitoring the operating range. Operating shed in dangerous operation area, the top should meet the requirements of protective shed.
2.The foundation is solid. The hoist should be far away from the dangerous operation area as far as possible, choose a place with high elevation and solid soil, and lay the steel wire rope for ground anchor and lock the hoist seat, pile should be driven in front to prevent the hoist from moving and capsize.
3. Drum direction. The distance from the drum to the first guide pulley shall be 15 times greater than the width of the drum and 20 times greater than the grooved drum, so as to prevent the steel wire rope from overlapping with each other and the guide wheel flange from wearing away with the wire rope when the drum is running.
