Parts of 12 ton gantry crane

Wheels
The wheels of crane crab, main beam and end carriage are produced in our casting workshop. This makes our wheels more elastic, outer surface hard-wearing and durable.

Electric hoist
Model AQ-CD1, AQ-CD2 electric wire rope hoist is a small-sized lifting equipment. It can be mounted on single beam, bridge, gantry and arm cranes. With slight modification, it can also be used as a winch. It is widely used in factories, mines, harbour, warehouse.

Beam
Main beam has sandblast derusting and is painted with zinc rich epoxy primer. It is cut by plasma numerical cutting machine. The butt weld of tension flange shall undergo ultrasonic or x-ray flaw detection as specified.

Outrigger
It consists of rigid outrigger and flexible outrigger. All connection points are connected by high-tension bolt. The ladder is used by operator to enter into cab or arriving at winch. When the span is more than 30m, there needs a flexible leg to reduce the lateral thrust of the trolley to the rail when the girder lifts material.

Regular check-list of gantry crane

Bridge and trolley motor brakes operate properly.
There is little or no hook drift when releasing up or down controls.
Trolley and bridge track properly.
No loose items on crane heat could fall or any excessive oil leaks.
Fire extinguisher is available and in good condition.
Emergency means or egress is available and in good condition.
Air or hydraulic lines are in good condition.
All below-the hook devices are in good condition.

To purchase suitable gantry crane, customer should pay attention to following tips:

Be clear about working duty. If the crane is used for light duty, small portable gantry crane is proper, such as 5 ton semi gantry crane, 10 ton single girder gantry crane; if the crane is used for heavy duty, just choose large gantry crane, such as 50 ton crane, 100 ton rail mounted gantry crane.

Be clear about the crane application. For severe working condition, choose crane with high working class, such as casting gantry crane, industrial gantry crane.
